Product Standards & Transparency
- At HermTEA, we believe that good tea begins with honesty. Our goal is to share Chinese teas that are clean, authentic, and responsibly sourced — and to do so with full transparency.
✅ Safety & Sourcing
Every HermTEA product meets China’s national food safety standards for pesticide residues and heavy metals. - We partner only with trusted growers in remote, ecologically protected regions to preserve both product purity and the surrounding environment.
- Many of our teas carry Certified Organic under the Chinese National Organic Standard (GB/T 19630)— a rigorous certification increasingly recognized worldwide.
- Some teas may not have USDA or EU organic seals. This is often due to the high cost of international certification, not because of lower quality. For small-scale farmers, the priority is sustainable cultivation rather than expensive paperwork.
We proudly support both certified organic and traditionally grown teas, as long as they meet our own strict standards for cleanliness, sustainability, and authenticity.
👉 To stay fully transparent, we clearly list the certification status of each tea on its product page — whether Chinese Organic, USDA, or EU — so you can choose what best matches your values.
🍵 Health & Wellness Disclaimer
