Rooted in China. Shared with the World.

Do you ever feel like life is sprinting by, leaving you breathless? That the endless emails, back-to-back meetings, and the quiet hum of "not doing enough" have tangled into a knot in your chest? Maybe you’ve found yourself staring at the ceiling at 2 a.m., replaying the day’s to-dos, or reaching for another coffee just to stay upright—only to crash harder later.

Or perhaps it’s subtler: a persistent tiredness that sleep can’t fix, a tightness in your shoulders you don’t remember getting, or a vague sense that your body is trying to tell you something, if only you’d slow down long enough to listen.

These aren’t just "stress"—they’re your body and mind asking for a pause. A moment to step out of the rush, to breathe, to reset.

At HermTEA, we believe good tea is the perfect companion for that pause.

Everything starts with one simple belief: good tea speaks for itself. But more than that—good tea connects: to calm, to presence, to the quiet moments that keep us grounded.

China is home to some of the world’s most extraordinary teas—famous in the regions where they’re grown, enjoyed daily by generations, and deeply rooted in craft and tradition. Yet many of these teas remain unknown or misunderstood outside of China.

In most global markets, “Chinese tea” often means something vague: a generic green blend, a dusty supermarket teabag, or a “China-inspired” label with no mention of where the tea was grown, what cultivar it came from, or who made it. The result? Many tea lovers abroad have never truly tasted what classic Chinese tea can be.We believe that should change.

At HermTEA, we work directly with growers across China’s most historic tea regions—places as distinctive and terroir-driven as France’s vineyards. From the misty mountains of Fujian to the red soils of Yunnan, we source teas that are clean, traceable, and crafted with care—meeting the standards of today’s global tea drinkers:

  • 🌿 Clean – grown far from industrial zones, in ecologically protected terrain

  • 🧭 Traceable – labeled with region or tea garden origin

  • 🍃 Uncompromising – crafted using traditional, small-scale methods

  • 🤍 Honest – clearly marked as certified organic or ecologically grown

🌱 No gimmicks. No shortcuts. Just good tea, made well.

At HermTEA, we work directly with growers in China’s most storied tea regions—places as distinctive and terroir-driven as France’s vineyards.

No shortcuts. Just good tea, made well.

Because sometimes, the best way to keep up with life is to slow down—even for just a cup.

About HermTEA

🌿 Our Tea Origins & Commitments

From Sacred Mountains to Mindful Cups

At HermTEA, we believe that great tea begins at the source — and so does trust.

Each collection is thoughtfully curated from China’s most celebrated tea-growing regions, where tea is not a trend but a living tradition. These landscapes — misty mountains, bamboo forests, and coastal hills — have nurtured tea for over a thousand years, long before the concept of “organic” existed.

Much like the wine estates of France, these legendary regions are steeped in terroir, craftsmanship, and cultural meaning. Their names carry not just provenance, but generations of inherited wisdom and ecological harmony.

🍃 Our Origins Include

  • • Da Hong Pao Oolong grown in the Zhengyan (core rock) region of Wuyi Mountain — where centuries-old tea gardens cling to the mineral-rich cliffs of Niulankeng, Huiyuan Keng, and Tianxin Rock.

  • • Fuding White Tea from the coastal hills of northeastern Fujian

  • • Dragon Well (Longjing) Green Tea grown in the famed core origins of Hangzhou: Shifeng Mountain, Longjing Village, Yunqi, Hupao Spring, and Meijiawu.

  • • Yunnan Black Tea from the ancient fields of Fengqing, Lincang

  • • Anji White Tea from the bamboo-covered slopes of Huzhou, Zhejiang

Many of these regions have been producing tea since the Tang Dynasty — a living legacy we are proud to protect and share.

🔒 Our Safety & Processing Standards

We are committed to purity, tradition, and transparency:

  • ✔️ All HermTEA products meet China’s national safety standards for pesticide residues and heavy metals.

  • ✔️ We source from remote, ecologically protected areas with clean air, water, and soil.

  • ✔️ Many of our teas are certified organic under China’s National Organic Standard (GB/T 19630); international certifications (e.g., USDA, EU) are available on select products.

  • ✔️ The absence of foreign certification does not mean lower quality — it often reflects practical choices by smallholder farmers.

  • ✔️ We never use flavoring, additives, or artificial ingredients. Only real leaves, carefully processed by hand.

From mountain to cup, we preserve each tea’s integrity through traditional harvesting, small-batch processing, and respectful sourcing.

✨ Our Vision

We aim to help the world discover the depth, beauty, and meaning of Chinese tea — not just as a drink, but as a timeless ritual and a living cultural legacy.

Whether you're encountering Chinese tea for the first time or rediscovering it through a new lens, we are honored to be part of your journey.

At HermTEA, every cup is a quiet invitation:

To slow down. Steep your senses. And return to what matters.
